Nor-Cal Products successfully upgraded their ISO registration level in January 2010 to that of ISO 9001:2008. The company became ISO certified in 2005 in order to provide customers with the highest level of satisfaction. Lead by QA Manager, Cheri Clemons, Nor-Cal Products has undergone exhaustive quality audits in order to be certified to the new level of an ISO 9001:2008 registered company.
The company quality management system, management responsibilities, resource management, product realization, and measurement analysis and improvement areas were all addressed in the audit; in short, all aspects of the company.

Nor-Cal Products, manufacturers of stainless steel vacuum components since 1962, has added an on-line catalog making it easy to search and order 4,358 catalog items. Nearly six hundred of our most commonly used items will be shipped from stock same or next day.
In the process of adding the catalog we have streamlined our entire site, making it easier to navigate. Catalog features include searches by part number or description, fast order entry for our customers who already know the part numbers they need, frequently ordered parts by individual user, a 3-D view of each part, order status, package tracking, and easy account management.

Nor-Cal Opens Sales & Service Offices in South Korea |

In response to an explosion of new business in Asia, Nor-Cal Products, Inc. (Yreka, CA) has opened Sales and Service offices in Suwon, South Korea.
“Nor-Cal Korea will be a hub for our Asia business plan. The offices have only been open a few weeks, and they are already a focal point of sales, service, inventory and support throughout Korea and Asia” says Nor-Cal Global Support Manager Per Cederstav.

Introducing the Innovative JV Series Vacuum Valves |

Since 1962, Nor-Cal Products has been improving valve designs and expanding our product line in order to offer valves for almost every vacuum application. The new JV series valves are designed to meet the demanding high-cycle requirements of semiconductor equipment manufacturers, yet offer the researcher a cost effective solution for UHV system roughing.
In addition to pneumatic actuation, JV series valves offer a unique manual actuator for course throttling which allows partial opening by specified and repeatable intervals. Electromagnetic actuators are available for portable or table-top systems that do not have compressed air available. Right-angle and in-line bodies are available with KF 16, 25, 40 and 50 flanges.
JV series valves are up to 10 million cycle rated, have a small footprint and offer a wide range of options. Actuation options are Electromagnetic, Pneumatic or Manual with course throttling. Body styles include Right Angle and In-line from either low cost aluminum or stainless steel. Other Options are Position Indicators, “Snap-on” coils on electromagnetic actuator and special o-ring materials.
